6. Service and tag your fire protection equipment such as sprinkler systems and fixed extinguishers regularly.

7. Deter break-and-enters by installing exterior lighting on your property.

8. Store cash and valuables in a safe labeled with its burglary resistance rating.

9. Always maintain accurate inventory & equipment records.

10. Keep all indoor and outdoor walking surfaces smooth and even.
